About the Author

David Bradford earned his PhD in social psychology from the University of Michigan. He serves as the Eugene O’Kelly II Senior Lecturer in Leadership, Emeritus at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he created the Interpersonal Dynamics course. Known as “Touchy-Feely” by students, this course has been the top elective at the GSB for more than 45 years and has been highlighted in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and on the Today show. Carole Robin obtained her PhD in human and organization systems from Fielding University. At Stanford, where she held the Dorothy J. King Lecturer in Leadership position, she enhanced the Interpersonal Dynamics course and co-taught it with Bradford for almost 20 years. She is also a cofounder of Leaders in Tech, an initiative that applies the principles of Interpersonal Dynamics to executives in Silicon Valley.
